If you're an experienced rockhound, you know that Purple Aztec Agate hasn't been available from Mexico in decades. My dad got a commission to create a whole ensemble of matching jewelry over fifty years ago, before it was all gone in the Mexican mines. These are small slabs and end cuts. When he displayed the pieces (before delivery to the customer) at the local rock show, it caused quite a stir. That's why I can remember it.

Try tumbling these!
I've always thought that the best tumbled rocks were small slabs like these. They have better display surfaces when they're finished. They tend to lay flat and they look better that way. My recommendation is to add these to your next batch of tumbled rocks. Several are big enough for cabs, however.
