This rhyolite rock was collected by my dad from a site near Lovelock, Nevada. It often has exceptional pastel colors that twist and wind through the rock. There is a GIANT piece listed here as well and I can supply pieces bigger than that. Send me a message if you're interested in something else.

Here's a lapidary tip: Break the slab and then tumble it! You get smaller, but flat pieces that are ideal for making thing like necklaces, keychains, bracelets, earrings ... The flat shape just works and it's a LOT easier to break a slab than a whole rock.

Only the first two pictures are the offered rock. The other one is there just to illustrate what other people have done with this type of rock.
