SuperSeven (Gem From Heaven!)

Updated: Aug 20

Super ? and Seven ?

(post script added 27 Sept 2023)

A wonderful solution for the problems tormenting all mankind has been discovered !!!

Here are direct quotes documenting the enormous power of this miracle for the millions.

• “boosts psychic powers, including clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, channeling, and communicating with your spirit guide.”

• “detoxifies and attacks the sources of sicknesses or diseases. It is beneficial to the

neurological and immunological systems. It will not only assist in reducing

inflammation and tension”

• “expands one's consciousness while also promoting mental clarity”

What is this glorious thaumaturgy for the universe? Why, it’s the miracle crystal Super Seven !

KinesavaROCKS is not responsible for the foregoing claims. These claims are made by other

web sites and KinesavaROCKS does not confirm or deny them. Since I started selling my dad’s Super Seven, I have personally received messages from people instructing me about what the rock does or does not contain and what it can or cannot do.

The late Terry Prachett, author of dozens of wonderful books about the fictional Discworld, put this insight into his book “The Hogfather” – a satire on Santa Claus. At the end of the book, a child realizes that the Hogfather is really a lie and asks why people tell such lies to children.

The answer is that it’s necessary to teach children to believe little lies when they are young so they will also believe the really big lies when they grow up.

In the book of Joshua, we learn that

“Seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the

seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times.”

Seven has such a nice ring to it.

Recently, China has massively entered the market for rocks that many, many ads are calling "Super Seven". (3,300 at last count on Ebay - August 2024) But none of the rocks I saw bore any resemblance to what used to be called Super Seven. Most are just plain amethyst (violet colored quartz) and prices start (literally !!!) at a penny. I wish there was a way to sue China for outright fraud. Some are calling their rocks "lepidocrocite" now. That's a lie too. What they're selling is (again) just quartz.

Whether you believe all the things about Super Seven, or the number seven, is up

to you. But I just know that some of you do.

On the other hand, KinesavaROCKS does support the claim that the rocks in my dad’s collection are extraordinarily beautiful.

My dad polished these magnificent jewels from these unique amethyst crystals containing

golden acicular bands. To the best of my knowledge, these rocks are simply not available

anywhere else except at KinesavaROCKS. These pieces are polished on both sides and are a

symmetric matched pair.

I have never seen Jewelry pieces made from Super Seven larger than an inch because you

can't find Super Seven material with no cracks larger than that. The earrings shown at the top are two and a half times larger than the biggest Super Seven jewelry pieces I have ever found online. And they are perfect! My dad was a marvelous craftsman when it came to shaping and polishing rocks.

I have just a few of these rocks that I found in my dad’s workshop. There are two very

interesting questions that need to be answered.

• What is this rock?

• Where did my dad get his?

As for the first question, it’s just a regular amethyst crystal, but it has unique and rare

inclusions. The name “Super Seven” comes from the claim that this Amethyst is actually a

blend of seven different crystals:

1. Amethyst

2. Smoky Quartz

3. Rutile

4. Goethite

5. Lepidocrocite

6. Cacoxenite

7. Clear Quartz

The list amuses me because “quartz” is actually three of the seven components. If whoever named it was more honest, it could still be called … oh, I dunno … “Fabulous Five” ... maybe.

Just to be clear, I don’t pretend to know very much about what the inclusions are. Reading

dozens of web sites has convinced me that it’s very controversial and that a lot of other

“experts” don’t really know much about it either. You can find all kinds of claims and counterclaims for the rock (In addition to the claim that it will cure anything.)

It comes from just one small mine in Brazil – which is now flooded – so no

more is being produced.

No, no. There are other mines in Brazil and India.

No, no, no. None of those mines contain all seven crystal types.

I only know what I found in my dad’s lapidary shop. And, as nearly as I can discover, my dad’s rocks are completely and totally unique. Here’s the key difference: All other rough “Super Seven” rocks that I have seen are bare crystals. My dad’s rocks are river rounded crystals. Think: “Montana Agate – but made out of amethyst”. Montana Agate has all tumbled down the Yellowstone River for a few hundred miles, so it is all round river rocks like these.

This gives my dad's rocks some interesting qualities:

• There are few cracks – often none. I believe this is because they were rolled down a river like Montana Agate was. Any that were cracked to begin with disintegrated into little pieces.

• Relative to what else is available, they’re huge!

• After they were cut, every one I know of has magnificent golden bands.

Every person who has reported back tells me they found golden bands. I have no

explanation for this. Just the raw fact.

Here’s one that my friend polished!

He also sent me some pics of of of those gray, rounded rocks after he sliced it. Trent hit paydirt again! I couldn't really tell whether the rock I sent to him actually had any of the golden bands in it.

It did.

This brings us to the second question, “Where did my dad get his?”

Well … When my dad acquired them, I was the project manager of a big software development project. I simply had a lot on my mind, but definitely not rocks. On the few occasions when I made a visit back home, my dad always made a point of mentioning that they were special. He didn’t normally do that with his other rocks. Normally, he didn't say much at all.

Since they looked like big gravel stones to me, I thought, “Yeah, sure, Dad. Nice rocks.”

And that was all. It wasn’t until after I retired that I took a second look and realized what he

was talking about. By then, my dad wasn’t available to ask anymore. My theory is that he found an ad in one of his rock magazines and ordered them, but it’s only a theory. Whatever it was, it happened maybe three or four decades ago.

If you know anything about these rocks, please tell me.

post script -- 27 Sept 2023

For the first time, I found cacoxenite amethyst similar to my dad's rocks. It was at an online rockshop at samsilverhawk.com. The cab shown was, according to a description included with the picture, crafted by the owner's son, Chris.

I have to admit it. These seem to be equal in quality to the earrings my dad made. I sent an email inquiry, but I'm not optimistic. The most recent update at the site is six years old, few of the links actually work, and I couldn't find anything available for sale. But these gems are the first I have seen that appear to be made from the same material that my dad had.
